Megan is the new Miss Leamington Spa

Megan French will be representing Leamington in this year's Miss England competition . The 19- year old qualified beauty therapist was picked from 18 contestants to be crowned Liss Leamington in the final held at Evolve nighclub in Spencer street last Frsday.

She will take part in the semi-finals of the national competition in June.

Miss French said "i'm really excited but it hasn't sunk in yet". " I guessed who I thought was going to win before by looking at photos and I had already discounted myself"

"so when I heard my name called out I was like "what is going on?""

It was a case of eighth time lucky for Miss French who has entered similar competitions before and came third in the Miss Warwick and Leamington final last year.

She said "I'.m happy to be Miss Leamington Spa", " It sounds nice, and posh as well". "I'm looking to win the Miss Engalnd crown"

Miss French was crowned by Emily Ballard, the departing Miss Warick & Leamington winner. Miss french also won a series of prizes including a Model Shoot worth £300.00 provided by Gary Maxwell AMPA of ModelShots.co.uk
